Grade school bans tag, other games - Education - MSNBC.com

Not only is this stupid, but I also read where a school near St. Louis for giving a student two-days detention for hugging her friend on a friday afternoon.  she is 13 and this is getting absurd.  What kind of little weenie kids are being created by insane rules.  No tag?  that was our best game when we were younger.  Kids get hurt all the time and even if it is supervised, someone can still get hurt.  Kids need the exercise of running around and playing.  they can't live in a bubble their entire lives.  Society has gone way overboard on some of these rules.

What a surprise.  After all, if these kids are kept healthy, they can be drafted to fight his war in Iraq.

He will spend $190 billion in the war, but won't spend 20% of that to help keep kids health.

    What an ass!.

Nice. Leave it to our wonderful government which has once again screwed over people who depend on the use of marijuana to give them some comfort.  There are so many other illegal operations going on around this country, and they have to concentrate on places that actually help people.  What a bunch of morons.

This is nuts.  This happened nearly 40 years ago.  The first news report said the priest was 72, not it says he is 69. Either way, it been 40 years.  If Foley wanted to say something about it, he should have done it then.  This is a feeble attempt to put the blame and attention on someone else.   Foley just needs to accept the responsibility for what he did and move on.  Leave other people alone.

What a piece of crap!  We are in yet another war controlled by republicans that has a questionable potential for victory.  We are getting our asses kicked in Iraq, and not Bush has pledged that the US will fully support and help protect Japan?  What an idiot!!

WP: States, counties crack down on illegals - washingtonpost.com Highlights - MSNBC.com
Okay.. let me see if I understand this.  These people are in this country illegally and they break the law and now they stand the chance of being deported.  I see the sub heading on this where it says that some latinos cry foul.  Okay, now heres the thing... if you come into this country and break the law, what else would you expect to happen?  You commit a crime and you go to jail.  It would work the same if you were actually a legal citizen.  If you don't like our justice system... leave the country.  I personallly would welcome anyone who wants to come here to make a better life for themself... but there is a process, and if you circumvent that process, you are illegal.  Then if you break the law, you should be arrested.  However, if you actually become a citizen, be productive, obey the laws, learn our language, etc. then you will be given the same rights as any other citizen.  You would be given legal counsel if you couldn't afford it.. just like anyone else.  But do the right thing.. become a citizen and learn our language.  I am beginning to get a little tired of hearing "press 1 for english"

Rumsfeld: War critics appease ‘fascism’ - Politics - MSNBC.com

What an arrogrant, pompous ass!  Intellectually confused?  Morally confused?  there is no confusion here.  Rumsfeld and Bush and Cheney went with the attitude that the Iraqi people will welcome us with open arms.  I heard that 40 years ago on the other side of the world.  Didn't happen then either.  He was the major cause of underestimating the "'enemy".   But again, thats what arrogant people do.

Equifax laptop with employee data stolen - Security - MSNBC.com

How many times do we have to see in the news that a laptop has been stolen from the home of an employee, etc. etc. blah, blah blah.  It should take only once for people of normal intelligence to figure that if it happened once, it could happen again.  That means that steps should be taken immediately to prevent this.  One very simple solution is to not keep that data on a laptop where it could be easily stolen.  How hard can that be?  But, it will happen again and again.  Someone just isn't using their brains.

Who do these people think they are?  How dare they come into this country and record our national anthem in spanish.  They should be removed from this country with every illegal alien.

Talking about Is Tom Cruise taking on ‘South Park’? - Access Hollywood - MSNBC.com

I am so sick of seeing this BS about Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes.  If they fell off the face of the earth, it wouldn't bother me.  Are people so shallow that all they have to do is worry about what these two are doing?  Must we be innundated with daily progress reports on these two?  Come on, who really cares?

If he refuses to promote his new movie, so what?  The studio needs the consumer a whole lot more than the public needs another version of Mission Impossible.  Without us, they would be broke.  Give me a break!

    'Predator's Playground'? - Newsweek National News - MSNBC.com

Anyone who believes that Myspace.com really monitors photos, etc. should take another look.  That website has tons of explicit photos, whether they belong to the individual or not.  There is rampant nudity and explicit conversations.  There are message postings that parents should take a close look at because some of these kids are profoundly depressed and they express themselves in their blogs.  Monitoring of this site is practically non-existant.  Parents really need to take a closer look at what their kids are seeing on there.  They would be shocked.

Talking about Cheney: 'Reprehensible’ to say Bush lied on Iraq - Conflict in Iraq - MSNBC.com

What a crock!  Cheney lied himself and it will be shown resonably soon.  To say that if the US leaves Iraq too soon it will leave the country open for terrorists is another idiotic remark.  Rumsfeld himself said that the Iraqi people will welcome us with open arms.  Another stupid comment because that never happened.  It doesn't matter when we leave Iraq... it will be open ground for terrorists.  Leave and let the Iraqi people deal with it.  It is no longer our problem.  People like Bush, Cheney and Rumsfeld will never learn that terrorism is a tactic and not a person that can be killed.  If people don't think that Iraq is like Vietnam, look at how quick the cummunists took over when we left.  The same thing will happen in Iraq.  How many more Americans have to die for Bush's war and oil?

Witch hunt huh?  Kind of a reminder of how the republicans went after Clinton a few years ago.  And aftrer spending $66 million of taxpapers money, what was resolved?  Nothing.  So, now there is Delay, Frist, and lets not forget about Rove.  All Bush buddies. Why am I not surprised?

Talking about Hughes raises female driving ban with Saudis - washingtonpost.com Highlights - MSNBC.com

First of all, I agree that women should have the right to vote and to drive, however, who does Ms. Hughes think she is by invoking her beliefs on another nation? How dare she mingle in their culture, about which she knows nothing.  Here is yet another reason why people all over the world hate us.  Mind your own business Karen Hughes, we don't need any more enemies.

No refund for a vacation on ice - Travel Troubleshooter - MSNBC.com

first of all, they should have gone direct to Icelandic and the hotel.  Secondly, Expedia is not the least expensive provider around.  If they had done theri homework, they would have found that Travelocity is usually less expensive for the same service.  Also, they could have contacted a travel agent, someone who does this professionally, and they would have had no headaches at all.  Once Icelandic cancelled their flight, they were responsible for the refund.  They also could have purchased travel insurance to cover things like this.  Live and learn.

So the good old republican senator from Florida got involved in the Shaivo case because it was good for the party huh?  The politicing just won't stop will it.  They don't care about her, they just care about furthering their own agenda.
